Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Director, Mission Site Services to lead and align mission and values across sites in Ohio. You will partner with the Mission and Values Team to implement programs, ethics, and heritage initiatives, ensuring Catholic identity informs clinical and organizational practice.

The role focuses on embedding spirituality in the workplace, guiding ethics discussions, and coordinating education and celebrations that honor the sponsors and legacy of Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Theology, Religious Studies or related field.
• 2–3 years of leadership experience in a health care or not-for-profit organization.
• Strong working knowledge of Catholic theology (CHA Competencies for Mission Leaders).
• Knowledge of Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a Mission connection with site(s) and respond to needs from a mission perspective.
• Develop and monitor budget for the department in coordination with VP of Mission.
• Participate in market/site and Operational Team meetings related to Mission & Values.
• Report monthly on projects, concerns and issues to the Vice President of Mission.
• Presence at sites to support patient satisfaction and Mission & Values.
• Promote rituals to reinforce Catholic heritage and spiritual meaning of celebrations.
• Orient new hires and managers to Mission, values, ethics, and organizational legacy.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to recognize employees demonstrating Mission through values-based behaviors.
• Provide leadership to Mission Committees and organize annual Heritage celebrations.
