Job summary

Visionist Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer on a fully funded PRIME contract to deliver mission-focused web applications and analytics tools.

You will build and maintain full-stack solutions that consolidate data sources, automate workflows, and support operators and decision-makers in real time. You will collaborate with analysts, customers, and other engineers to tailor software to user workflows, gather feedback, and improve functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 3 years of experience in Software Engineering
• Experience with full-stack software development, with emphasis on AI workflows
• Experience soliciting and incorporating customer feedback into software development
• Experience programming in JavaScript and Python

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications that support mission operations and analytic workflows
• Support the development of agentic tools to gather, organize, and curate information packages from multiple data sources
• Expand existing workflow automation efforts to streamline processes and improve mission efficiency
• Work directly with customers to understand their workflows, learn their tradecraft, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with customer leadership, analysts, and developers to implement solutions that address mission needs
• Gather and incorporate customer feedback to continuously improve application functionality and project outcomes
• Coordinate with other development teams working on similar solutions for different customer groups
