Job summary

World Vision is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager for its Grand Prairie, TX facility. You will lead daily warehouse operations, ensure safe storage and handling of inventory, and drive on-time, on-budget distribution across sites.

Candidates should have 3-5 years in warehouse/distribution with supervisory experience, a 2-year degree or equivalent, and knowledge of Inventory Management Systems. Forklift certification and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical or junior college degree or equivalent work experience (four years).
• 3-5 years of work experience in a warehouse/distribution center, preferably with supervisory duties.
• Working knowledge of Inventory Management Systems and related electronic devices.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by developing warehouse procedures and safety standards.
• Oversee storage, handling and distribution of inventory to meet on-time, on-budget goals.
• Coordinate with department leaders to identify cost-saving warehousing approaches.
• Oversee and schedule warehouse staff to ensure timely materials handling.
• Receive, process deliveries, and conduct inventory reconciliation and reporting.
