Job summary

C Catholic Charities of Houma-Thibodaux is seeking a part-time Warehouse & Delivery Specialist in Thibodaux, LA. The role supports food distribution, drives box trucks, and maintains a safe warehouse while coordinating with donors and volunteers.

Role requires reliability, ability to work in varied weather, and willingness to participate in disaster response events. Training and supervision of volunteers may be involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Forklift certification a plus or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck and transit van safely.
• Load and unload cargo and secure it for transit.
• Transport goods to designated locations on schedule.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate records and delivery documentation.
• Provide quality customer service to donors and volunteers.
• Assist in general warehouse duties when not driving.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and report issues.
• Work during disaster response events, evenings and weekends.
• Supervise volunteer drivers and coordinate routes.
