Job summary

Meals on Wheels People Inc is seeking a Warehouse & Utilities Assistant to manage safe and timely distribution of meals, beverages, and center supplies from the Central Kitchen to dining sites using a 24-foot delivery truck. You will support warehouse ops by receiving, organizing, labeling, and preparing products for delivery, ensuring accuracy and sanitation.

Responsibilities include inventory control, occasional food prep, and maintaining clean equipment while following state and federal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Oregon Food Handler’s Certificate or ability to obtain within two weeks.
• Covid-19 vaccination or approved waiver.
• One year of experience in food assembly or high-volume production.
• One year of truck driving experience with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Load daily meals, beverages, and supplies onto the delivery truck.
• Deliver to dining centers and verify distribution accuracy.
• Complete daily delivery logs and perform routine vehicle checks.
• Maintain inventory records and assist with food prep as needed.
• Uphold sanitation standards and food safety regulations.
