Job summary

Risk Mitigation Consulting (RMC) is seeking an Engineer for a full-time hybrid role in Bremerton, WA, with eligibility for other CONUS locations. The engineer will evaluate utilities systems across military and civilian facilities, delivering reports and recommendations to support mission assurance and reliability.

The role requires coordination of site visits, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 4-year ABET engineering degree and DoD-related experience.
• 5–10 years in mechanical/civil/electrical engineering in defense/military context.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance.
• Military facilities design or construction background.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct site assessments of utilities systems to ensure mission readiness.
• Coordinate on-site visits and inspections.
• Prepare reports detailing findings and recommended mitigations.
• Communicate complex technical issues clearly to stakeholders.
