Job summary

Risk Mitigation Consulting (RMC) is seeking an Engineer for a full-time hybrid role, with locations across Bremerton WA, San Diego CA, Washington, D.C., or Norfolk VA. The Engineer will assess utilities systems on military facilities, generate reports, and support mission assurance efforts for DoD and civilian clients.

The role requires collaboration, strong technical reporting, and the ability to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 5–10 years in mechanical/civil/electrical fields preferred.
• Experience with DoD/UFC and federal policy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan site assessments and analyze utility drawings to ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate site visits and inspections for military facilities.
• Conduct field surveys and report findings with recommendations.
• Analyze data to identify assets at risk and single points of failure.
• Prepare comprehensive written reports for US Navy/Marine Corps clients.
• Communicate complex issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
