Job summary

Risk Mitigation Consulting (RMC) is seeking an Engineer for a full-time hybrid position. The role supports utilities systems on military and civilian facilities and involves mission assurance assessments and detailed reporting for DoD and commercial clients.

The ideal candidate holds a 4-year ABET-accredited engineering degree, 5–10 years in mechanical/civil/electrical engineering, familiarity with UFC/LEED/NERC/FERC, and is capable of clear technical communication.

Qualifications

• 4-year ABET-accredited engineering degree.
• 5–10 years of technical engineering experience (mechanical/civil/electrical).
• Familiarity with UFC, LEED, NERC, FERC and related codes.
• Military facilities design or DoD experience preferred.
• Security clearance eligibility (DoD).

Responsibilities

• Plan site assessments; review utility drawings and specs for compliance with standards.
• Coordinate site visits and inspections; evaluate facilities and utilities infra.
• Analyze data and prepare formal reports for DoD and clients.
• Communicate complex technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Develop and coordinate engineering reports with team members; ensure on-time delivery.
