Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a dynamic Store Manager for one of our thrift stores in the community. You will oversee all store operations, supervise staff, manage scheduling and payroll, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience that supports our mission to help those in need.

Responsibilities include implementing policies, handling cash deposits, inventory, and reporting to the Regional Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience leading store staff and supervising daily operations.
• Ability to manage scheduling, payroll, and timekeeping.
• Strong customer service orientation and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store staff, recruit and train as needed.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll processing, and attendance.
• Manage donation processes, pricing, and product presentation.
• Ensure OSHA and safety compliance and store maintenance.
• Deliver daily reports on store production and sales.
• Assist regional leadership with coaching and reviews.
