Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Store Manager to lead store operations, supervise staff, and drive sales while upholding the organization’s mission. Qualifications

• 2+ years of staff management and development experience or equivalent education/experience
• Proven retail management experience
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent customer service orientation
• Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial management

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store staff, manage scheduling and payroll processing
• Oversee all store operations including donations, pricing, presentation, maintenance and safety
• Enhance customer experience and develop customer retention plans
• Manage cash handling, daily deposits and operate within budget parameters
• Provide regular reports to Regional Manager and Department Heads; address customer concerns and educate on programs
• Recruit, interview and train store personnel; conduct performance reviews with the Regional Manager
