Job summary

Space Systems Integration is recruiting a Software Product Manager to lead the translation of mission needs into software roadmaps and actionable development work in Colorado Springs, CO. You will bridge operators, government program offices, and development teams to deliver fielded software outcomes.

You will own and refine product initiatives, prioritize backlogs, and drive user-centered design through regular discovery, demos, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience translating mission needs into software requirements and backlogs.
• Track record of working with cross-functional teams in DoD or mission-critical Programs.
• Proficient with Jira/Confluence for backlog and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Bridge operators, program offices, and software teams to align outcomes with product vision.
• Develop and refine product roadmaps and prioritised capabilities across lifecycles.
• Manage epics, features, and user stories ensuring traceability from problem to deployment.
• Lead discovery, demos, design reviews, and user feedback activities.
• Coordinate participation in tests, exercises, and release activities.
• Provide technical planning and requirements definition for software systems.
