Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Software Product Manager to drive Kronos FoS and BMC3 mission software delivery in Colorado Springs, CO. You will bridge operators, program offices, engineering, and test teams to translate needs into a product vision and prioritized capabilities.

You will own roadmaps, manage agile backlogs, and ensure traceability from problem to deployment while coordinating with NSDC and mission partners. Target salary range is $160,001 - $200,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with appropriate years of experience.
• Experience engaging operational users to identify outcomes and translate needs into requirements.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional product teams across multiple domains.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for backlog management and traceability.
• Strong written and oral communication, including briefings to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary software product management focal point among program offices, users, and development teams.
• Engage with operators and partners to translate needs into a clear product vision and backlog.
• Own or refine roadmaps linking priorities to increments, releases, and deployments.
• Prioritize features based on mission value, feasibility, risk, and dependencies.
• Create and manage initiatives, epics, features, and tickets with traceability from problem to delivery.
• Facilitate developer-user engagements, demos, design reviews, and feedback sessions.
• Coordinate participation in test events, missions, and release activities for usability and readiness.
• Support technical planning, requirements definition, and system-level analysis.
• Support release planning and lifecycle execution across cybersecurity, integration, and training considerations.
• Apply Agile, DevSecOps, and continuous delivery to enable rapid delivery of software increments.
• Develop polished status briefings and strategic communications on user needs and outcomes.
• Navigate dynamic environments to deliver high-quality results on evolving priorities.
