Job summary

The Sisters of Mercy of the Americas are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to Sisters residing in our Whitestone retirement residence.

This part-time RN position supports health and wellness through skilled nursing, medication administration, treatment management, wound care, and coordination of care with the Healthcare Coordinator and contracted staff. A NY RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Current New York RN license required.
• Experience with older adults or gerontology preferred.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health status and document changes.
• Administer medications and treatments per standards.
• Coordinate care with Healthcare Coordinator and staff.
• Maintain medical documentation and privacy.
• Assist with ADLs and provide compassionate, person-centered care.
