MERS Missouri Goodwill in Shawnee, KS is seeking an energetic Retail Cashier to join our Shawnee Store - Mission team. This hourly full-time role pays $15.50 per hour with a monthly bonus up to $250.

Duties include greeting customers, operating the cash register, handling cash and card transactions, and maintaining store cleanliness. Benefits for full-time employees include medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, PTO, holidays, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications: HS diploma preferred.

Competenze

• No degree required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.

Mansioni

• Greet customers and assist on the sales floor; answer the phone within three rings with a professional greeting.
• Operate the store cash register; handle cash, credit card transactions, returns and balancing.
• Stock, straighten, rotate products and maintain cleanliness of the store area.
• Request manager assistance for returns, exchanges and customer complaints.
• Maintain store cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and shining surfaces.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with team members and leadership; work cross-functionally.
• Follow safe work practices and keep aisles clear of obstructions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Safeguard agency assets including cash and donated items; report incidents of theft.
• Adhere to all policies and safety regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Monthly Bonus up to $250.00
