Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a energetic Retail Cashier for the Manhattan Store - Poyntz. This 100% travel, hourly full-time position offers a starting wage of $15.50 per hour with a monthly bonus potential up to $250.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the register, handling transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting store leadership. Medical/dental/vision benefits after eligibility and a 403(b)/401(a) options are available.

Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the store; assist on the sales floor and answer phones with a professional greeting.
• Operate store cash register; handle cash, credit card transactions, discounts, returns, and balancing.
• Stock and maintain cleanliness of the store floor and surrounding areas.
• Request manager assistance for returns, exchanges, and customer complaints.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
