MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a Retail Cashier for the Kansas City Store - E 63rd to support our mission, Changing Lives Through the Power of Work. You will welcome customers, handle transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

The role emphasizes cash handling, friendly customer service, and teamwork within a mission-driven retail setting. Full-time hours with a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• No degree is required. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• The ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Necessary math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and assist on the sales floor, answer phones promptly.
• Operate the store cash register and balance cash.
• Stock, straighten, rotate, and maintain the cleanliness of the store area.
• Coordinate with managers on returns and exchanges.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the store environment.
• Build positive relationships with team and leadership; work with other teams.
• Follow safe work practices and keep aisles clear of obstructions.
• Dress professionally and adhere to dress code.
• Safeguard agency assets from theft and report incidents.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures and safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
