Job summary

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking a physician to provide high-quality medical care at a Browning, MT facility. You will evaluate and manage patients, collaborate with diverse teams, and participate in teaching and quality initiatives to improve Native health outcomes.

A minimum recruitment/relocation sign-on bonus is available to join our dedicated team. Physicians must hold an MD or DO, maintain an appropriate US licensure, and complete requisite residency training.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold an MD or DO from an accredited US/Canada medical school.
• Active license or registration to practice medicine is required.
• Completion of internship/residency with relevant specialty training as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert patient-centered medical care within specialty, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated care.
• Perform procedures in line with training and credentialing; assist with complex cases as needed.
• Contribute to teaching and mentorship of medical staff, students, and trainees.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to advance care delivery.
