Jobot is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to lead the accounting and finance team for a nonprofit organization in Albuquerque, NM. This permanent role requires a minimum of 5 years in a senior financial leadership position and offers a salary of $120,000 to $140,000 per year with excellent benefits.

You will provide strategic financial input, oversee budgeting and forecasting, ensure GAAP compliance, manage grants, and report to the board.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior financial leadership role with a proven track record.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control; experience with grants management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making; manage bank and deposit relationships; optimize cash handling.
• Develop and execute budgeting and forecasting aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee financial reporting ensuring GAAP compliance and timely disclosures.
• Manage grants and oversee funding reporting.
• Lead finance team and implement policies and procedures.
