Job summary

Addison Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a 3–4 month, fully onsite contract. You will support day-to-day marketing initiatives, digital campaigns, events, research, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of marketing experience, strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office; CRM, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite are a plus. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; local candidates encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional marketing experience, preferably with exposure to digital campaigns, social media, or events.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM systems, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable taking initiative with limited direction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate social media activities and assist with planning and execution of marketing-related events
• Provide administrative assistance to the marketing team, including scheduling, database updates, and CRM maintenance
• Conduct research on industry developments, target audiences, and emerging marketing opportunities
• Assist in developing promotional initiatives designed to increase visibility and support organizational objectives
• Prepare marketing reports, presentations, and data-driven materials for internal teams
• Review campaign and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Support additional marketing projects and initiatives as needed
