Job summary

The Well Coffee Roasters is a nonprofit coffeehouse focused on connection and impact, seeking a Food & Bakery Manager to lead culinary operations across multiple locations, develop menus, control costs, and coach kitchen teams.

Reporting to the COO, the role requires travel between coffeehouse locations and the roasting facility bakery, with a strong emphasis on standardizing recipes, cost reporting, and food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of culinary management and leadership experience.
• Demonstrated financial acumen with food cost, COGS, and vendor management.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and health code compliance.
• Willingness to travel regularly between locations.

Responsibilities

• Establish standardized cost controls and menu standards across locations.
• Lead kitchen teams and coach staff.
• Manage food program standards and vendor relationships.
• Partner with General Managers to align front- and back-of-house operations.
• Travel between coffeehouse locations and the bakery facility.
