Job summary

Music Will is seeking a senior accounting leader to oversee the monthly close, maintain strong internal controls, and ensure GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards. You will manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and the annual audit, partnering with department leaders to translate financials into actionable insights.

The role reports to the CFOO and will supervise the team handling payroll and AR/AP, while helping drive strategic financial planning and risk management for a growing national

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience with nonprofit focus.
• At least 3 years of management or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and not-for-profit accounting including revenue recognition and grants.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and nonprofit accounting standards across statements.
• Lead annual external audit preparation and Form 990.
• Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
• Provide clear financial analysis to CFOO and department leaders.
