Arts FMS is seeking a Senior Finance Consultant to lead a small team and support multiple nonprofit clients in achieving sound financial health. You will oversee budgeting, reporting, and audits, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards.

The role is fully remote, core hours are 9am-6pm Eastern, and it is based in the United States. A Master’s degree is a plus, with 10+ years in nonprofit finance preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years nonprofit accounting experience; arts sector preferred.
• Experience leading a finance department and managing operations.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience building external client relationships primarily via virtual channels.
• Experience in preparing board and staff financial documents.

Responsabilités

• Manage two to four direct reports and oversee their projects.
• Provide excellent client service through verbal and written communication.
• Oversee GAAP, nonprofit accounting, reporting and compliance tasks.
• Utilize Excel and QuickBooks Online for client accounts.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for clients.
