Job summary

The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a Facility Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in the facility, supporting the mission and leadership team.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, Safe From Harm training within 30 days, and at least two years of direct care experience. Expect routine housekeeping duties, organization, and collaboration with staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Two years direct care experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and Safe From Harm training within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general cleaning throughout the facility.
• Clean and stock public area restrooms; operate laundry equipment as needed.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and supervise volunteers and community service workers.
• Maintain organized storage and work areas; assist other departments as needed.
• Attend meetings and maintain professional conduct; contribute to a positive work environment.
