Job summary

The Siskiyou Opportunity Center in Northern California seeks an Executive Director/CEO to lead a rural nonprofit serving adults with IDD. You will oversee programs, budgeting, fundraising, and community partnerships, ensuring high-quality services and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Rehabilitation, Social Services, Special Education or equivalent experience.
Supervisory experience in rehabilitation or IDD programs; executive management preferred.
Advanced computer skills: Windows Office and QuickBooks.
First Aid/CPR certification and valid California driving record.

Responsibilities

Coordinate overall operations and budget with the Board.
Develop and implement short- and long-range strategic plans.
Hire, supervise, and evaluate staff; ensure program quality.
Maintain accreditation and certifications; ensure compliance with state/federal requirements.
Prepare monthly financial reports and communicate financial status to the Board.
Seek funding sources and manage relationships with funders and partners.
