Job summary

FSA Federal (FSA) seeks a Data Analyst (Legal Assistant) to support the United States Attorneys Office Financial Litigation Unit. The role focuses on extracting and organizing information from case files, preparing initial documents, and aiding restitution efforts with meticulous data handling.

You will work with prosecutors, investigators, and probation officers to generate reports from sources like LexisNexis and PACER, maintain secure records, and help ensure timely, accurate debt collection

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and researching factual and legal issues in complex matters.
• Ability to review and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Ability to create and manipulate case/project files and management reports.

Responsibilities

• Extract information from LIONS, PACER, judgments, and pre-sentence reports; open cases with minimal supervision.
• Create initial demand letters, liens, and memoranda; coordinate with FLU agents and prosecutors.
• Generate and secure reports for debt collection and restitution purposes using sources like LexisNexis and PACER.
• Ensure timely delivery of case folders and documents to investigators and clerks, maintaining data security.
