Northeast Kingdom Health Services in Newport, VT is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the Agency’s financial operations under the CFO. You will manage monthly close, prepare draft financial statements, and supervise the Business Office staff.

The Controller will oversee general ledger, accounts payable, cash receipts, payroll transfers, and state reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely reporting to the finance committee and Board.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration.
• 6+ years of related experience.
• CPA/CMA designation a plus.
• Excellent management and supervisory skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Manage general ledger accounting system and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the finance committee and Board.
• Oversee accounts payable, payroll transfers, and cash receipts.
• Assist with annual audit and state reporting requirements.
