Leidos is seeking a Chinese Language Instructor to support a national security mission. You will deliver language training, conduct proficiency testing, and shape the next generation of linguistically prepared professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, foreign language, or linguistics with 8-12 years of prior relevant experience, or Master's degree with 2-10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of adult teaching experience.
• Must score 90% or higher on the English test.
• Must score Senior level.
• Degree must be obtained in the U.S. or in a country where the target language is natively spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic internet research.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in ILR levels 0-3.
• Conduct proficiency assessments (3-4 weekly).
• Instruct students in speaking a foreign language and understanding the culture.
• Develop class materials and training aids to meet student needs.
• Work under guidance of senior trained instructors.
