Throttle & Thrive seeks a dedicated Chef to lead lunch and dinner for a detox/residential treatment facility in Palos Verdes Estates, CA. This part-time, in-person role requires a focus on healthy, detox-friendly cooking and strict kitchen hygiene.

The ideal candidate holds an active Food Handler's Certificate and has experience in fast-paced, high-standard environments. Responsibilities include inventory, ordering, and ensuring timely meal service for staff and residents.

Formación

• Active Food Handler's Certificate required.
• Experience in residential or substance use treatment setting preferred.
• Able to serve lunch on time.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with high standards.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve lunch by 11:55 AM Monday through Friday.
• Prepare dinner for staff by 5:30 PM.
• Manage all food storage and inventory.
• Order food weekly (including breakfast, snacks and weekend food).
• Keep kitchen clean and organized; ensure knives are locked up; cleaning up after service; maintain equipment.
