Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in St. Louis is seeking a Bookkeeper Clerk to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and support compliant operations. This full-time role uses Acumatica and Shelby AR, with journal entries, A/P, cash reconciliation, and reporting.

Strong Excel skills and discretion are essential for daily tasks. 40-hour work week with benefits; salary is $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Degree required.
• Preferred: Accounting Certificate or 2-year associate's degree in related field.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions using Acumatica accounting software.
• Handle accounts payable, including check processing and vendor management.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Reconcile daily sales and bank statements.
• Process and reconcile CounterPoint POS reports.
• Prepare financial reports for Adult Rehabilitation Center.
• Generate Rags Sales & Vehicle Sales Reports.
• Handle auto donations process.
• Assist with internal audit preparations.
• Process internal and external voucher billing through Shelby Accounts Receivable.
