Lutheran Services Carolinas in Salisbury, NC seeks a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist to maintain billing, accounts receivable, and cash receipt records for the organization. In this role you will invoice funders, monitor collections, maximize revenue opportunities, and ensure records comply with policies.

This in-person position requires strong attention to detail and experience with Medicare/Medicaid billing is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of office experience preferred.
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid or government-funded programs is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Code and post Medicare, Medicaid, insurance receipts daily.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly invoices per contract and deadlines.
• Record and track monthly revenue by funder.
• Verify revenue and accruals posted by month-end closing.
• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts monthly.
• Respond to inquiries from funders and internal staff via phone and email.
• Maintain AR files and supporting documentation.
• Data entry of receipts and charges.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
