Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Systems Engineer Principal to provide System Engineering Technical Assistance (SETA) to the Space Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO) at Kirtland AFB, NM.

The role covers cryptographic/communications hardware and software integration in a fast-paced, classified environment. The candidate will lead engineering analysis, manage risks, and communicate results to management and executives while supporting the program's success in delivering rapid

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years DoD/IC or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience with cryptographic/satellite comms systems and space payloads.
• DoD programs, schedules (IMS), and SOW/PWS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supports design, interpretation and analysis of technical solutions for complex projects.
• Leads or supports technical programs requiring engineering oversight.
• Ensures tasks meet timeframes and budget constraints.
• Provides input on risks to performance, schedule, and budget to the government.
• Coordinates with partners to ensure milestones and deliverables meet requirements.
