Job summary

Core4ce is seeking a Software Engineer II to support the design, development, and deployment of complex software solutions for mission-critical government programs at WPAFB in Ohio. The successful candidate will work independently on complex assignments, contribute to technical decision-making, and mentor junior engineers while interfacing with government stakeholders and producing technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be a US citizen.
• Active TS/SCI clearance preferred; eligible candidates may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for government mission requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, and system artifacts.
• Support cloud-based and containerized application development efforts.
• Contribute to Agile development activities including sprint planning and reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Interface with government customers and program stakeholders to support project execution.
