Job summary

Thomas & Hutton seeks an experienced civil engineer to lead large-scale, multi-phase site development projects for mission-critical clients. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work directly with clients in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, 6+ years of design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. PE license is preferred. On-site schedule: Mon–Thu 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Fri 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required; PE license strongly preferred.
• 6+ years of civil engineering design experience.
• Experience producing site design plans for large-scale, multi-phase projects.
• Strong understanding of civil site development including grading and utility infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale, multi-phase civil site development projects for mission-critical clients.
• Prepare and oversee development of construction drawings for site grading, water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure.
• Lead project teams to deliver design solutions meeting scope, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical guidance and project updates.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to support design development and project execution.
• Monitor project performance including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Support proposal development and contribute to project planning efforts.
