Job summary

KBR's Exploration & Logistics (E&L) business unit delivers mission-critical solutions supporting global defense, federal civilian, logistics, engineering, and space exploration missions. The Quality Manager will optimize project execution by ensuring services meet established quality standards, leading the development and implementation of quality management systems to achieve excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/quality or related field.
• 7–10 years of directly related quality experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001 and AS9100).
• Proficient in data analysis and quality management software.

Responsibilities

• Establish and update the QM Plan detailing the QMS methodology, policy, objectives, training, procedures, and oversight of subcontracted work.
• Implement assessment-driven corrective and preventive actions and necessary process adjustments to eliminate problems throughout operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all work processes, procedures, quality inspections, surveillance results, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Prepare and submit the Contractor Quality Inspection and Surveillance Report monthly detailing events, results, corrective actions taken, and process adjustments.
• Support development and implementation of quality management systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and KBR policies.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor quality performance.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate delivery of functional objectives and provide direction to managers and staff.
• Provide technical expertise to support the Quality program including inspection and testing techniques and statistical methods.
• Support validation and verification of contractually required standards for project execution and proposals.
• Lead training on quality standards and best practices.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation.
