Job summary

Leidos in the United States seeks an accomplished Project and Program Manager to join the Chinook Program, delivering on an IC customer with cross‑functional teams across engineering, software, DevSecOps, and security.

You will lead planning, scheduling, risk management, and outcomes while coordinating with stakeholders and subcontractors to ensure commitments are met and program objectives are delivered.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required per contract.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience managing complex technical projects or programs.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and/or SAFe; government or mission customers.
• Experience with cost, schedule, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams with multiple Agile teams and dependencies.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Experience with contract execution and SOW/PWS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of projects, programs, and related activities from planning through delivery.
• Develop and maintain integrated project and program plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, integration, test, DevSecOps, security, and operations.
• Monitor performance against cost, schedule, scope, quality, and technical objectives; identify issues early.
• Serve as primary interface to customers and stakeholders; communicate status, risks, issues, decisions, dependencies.
• Support Agile and SAFe execution, including PI Planning, sprint reviews, and program syncs.
• Establish and maintain risk, issue, and dependency management processes.
• Coordinate workforce and resource planning, including staffing and subcontractor support.
• Support financial and contract execution, including forecasting and budget tracking.
