Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a Senior Pre-Construction Manager to lead the SBU's pre-construction activities, oversee estimating and planning support, and ensure accurate budgeting and cost modeling for large-scale projects.

You will supervise estimating and business development teams, collaborate with marketing, and drive profitable project pursuits while upholding our values of honesty, unity, safety, and quality across nationwide projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or related field with relevant experience.
• Experience leading large projects ($500M+), ideally in the mission critical, healthcare, or industrial sectors
• 15+ years of relevant experience
• Experience managing preconstruction teams

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction activities for the SBU and drive predictable outcomes.
• Provide leadership for estimating and planning support personnel.
• Monitor budgeting and buy-out processes to ensure reliable estimates.
• Coordinate cost history to improve pricing modeling and estimates.
• Oversee business development activities, client relationships, and sales initiatives.
• Interface with marketing to align information, issues and brand recognition.
