Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks a Critical Power Sales Associate in Ashburn, VA to join an outside sales team. The role targets Enterprise, Colocation, and Hyperscale customers with data center power solutions and related equipment.

You will develop regional market strategies, prospect new accounts, and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to closing while collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of sales experience in data center / critical facilities / critical power.
• Extensive network of data center contacts and industry knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead repeatable sales strategies focused on value.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Involvement in professional groups like 7x24 Exchange / Uptime Institute.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional sales plans targeting Enterprise, Colocation, and Hyperscale markets.
• Prospect new accounts and manage full sales cycle from contact to close.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and briefings for clients.
• Build relationships with engineers, architects, subcontractors and GCs.
• Maintain sales pipeline and forecast to drive revenue.
