Job summary
Clune Construction is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead planning, coordination and delivery of commercial construction projects in the San Francisco area. You will drive budgeting, bidding, cost control and client relations from preconstruction through closeout.
The role demands strong communication, rigorous document control, and team leadership with supervision of junior staff. You will partner with superintendents, trade partners and design teams to achieve on-time, on-budget project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering preferred, strong work experience considered.
- Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience; 2–3 years in commercial construction.
- Experience with a commercial general contractor required; proven track record in estimating, documentation and cost monitoring.
- Strong computer skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Resume is required from all candidates.
Responsibilities
- Participate in RFP responses and bid presentations.
- Coordinate internal team communications and external trade partners.
- Manage budgets, bids, scope reviews and subcontractor pricing.
- Monitor project costs, billing, change pricing and risk management.
- Support closeout with owner documentation, punch list and financial wrap-up.
- Develop client relationships and contribute to preconstruction efforts.
