Absolute Business Solutions Corp in Bethesda, MD seeks a Platform Operations Engineer to support the DOMEX Technology Platform, ensuring a reliable, scalable containerized stack and OSINT processing in a Kubernetes environment. Collaborate with engineers, system administrators, and data teams; active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required; on-site with some remote options.

Salary ranges from $110,000 to $225,000, commensurate with education and experience, with DoD 8570 IAT II+ and

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II+ certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security, SSCP, CISSP).
• Experience with Kubernetes, GitLab pipelines, Linux, and containerized environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise scale production systems.
• Experience with cloud services (preferably AWS).
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Logstash, Kibana, and Keycloak.

Responsibilities

• Ensure uptime, performance, and capacity planning for a large-scale data platform.
• Lead incident response, triage, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Define and track SLI/SLOs for reliability metrics.
• Collaborate in SAFe Agile release planning and cross-team coordination.
• Maintain a knowledge-intensive, secure, and compliant operations environment.
