Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an Operations Manager to provide day-to-day staffing coordination and operational oversight at POTFF sites in support of USSOCOM. You will help ensure staffing continuity, data visibility, and seamless integration of contractor personnel across multiple commands.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years in operations or military support, with preferred experience in large-scale contracts and credentialing processes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in operations, program management, or military support roles.
• Strong organizational, communication, and escalation skills; able to operate in a dynamic, multi-site environment.
• Familiarity with credentialing, security clearance processes, and labor-hour tracking.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day contractor coordination at assigned sites; track roster status, absences, and workload handoffs against continuity standards.
• Support the PMO to manage cost, schedule, and performance of the contract.
• Lead teams to define staffing plans and execute resource management requirements.
• Screen candidates for experience, education, and certifications to meet labor category requirements.
• Coordinate interviews of candidate personnel with hiring managers.
• Maintain PMT/roster entries to ensure credentialing status and labor hours stay current.
