Job summary

Dynalectric Arizona seeks a seasoned Director of Operations - Mission Critical in Mesa to lead the mission-critical division, directing estimates, schedules, cost control, and staffing for projects ranging from $5M to $80M with 15–30 staff. You will coordinate bid analyses, subcontractor negotiations, and ensure safety and quality across field and office teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in electrical project management or supervision and extensive estimating experience, plus a

Qualifications

At least 10 years as a project manager in electrical industry.
Or 10 years as GF or Field Superintendent.
10 years of estimating experience in the electrical industry.
BSc/BA in construction management or related discipline preferred.
Experience managing project teams and staffing based on needs.
In-depth understanding of electrical construction and materials.
Proficiency with estimating software - Accubid preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Proficiency with Bluebeam preferred.
Excellent written & verbal communication; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Manage project revenue between $5M to $80M with a team of 15-30 employees.
Plan, staff, and supervise division activities including personnel administration.
Participate in estimate close-out and bid analysis; review backlog and mark-up.
Guide the WIP reports process and review with PMs.
Assess workloads of PMs, engineers, coordinators and admins.
Schedule project kick-off and close-out meetings per Dynalectric process.
Use Estimating Log for reporting and cost control initiatives.
Provide field teams with information and support throughout projects.
Coordinate with department management and field leadership on staffing.
Review opportunities and negotiate subcontractor contracts.
