Job summary

Federal Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a Network Controller to support our client at Scott AFB in Illinois. The role requires a Secret clearance and the ability to operate in a 24/7 environment, managing and analyzing network events and incidents.

You will work with a team of employment professionals and engineers to provide proactive fault analysis and restoration strategies, ensuring SLA compliance and effective incident communications.

Qualifications

• Must have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent) at start date.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operation.
• Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN/WAN maintenance, performance management.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize tickets utilizing Remedy.
• Independently triages and manages tickets in respective technology.
• Analyze network-event data and telemetry to identify patterns and predict faults.
• Incident correlation and fault analysis to resolve alarm conditions and document workarounds.
• Notify necessary contacts based on incidents and locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults to isolate failure locations (systems, hardware, software, circuits).
• Provide global situational awareness support to customers and leadership.
• Design corrective-action plans to remediate faults and prevent recurrence.
• Engineer network restoration and service reroute strategies to maintain SLA.
