Job summary

Apogee seeks a Software Test & Evaluation Engineer to support Air Force NC3 modernization, deployment, and training development efforts at Offutt AFB in Omaha, NE. The role advances mission planning and execution using Agile/DevOps, CI/CD, and development of operational training materials.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• TS/SCI clearance required and ability to maintain.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years DoD.

Responsibilities

• Provides test support during SMPES modernization efforts.
• Evaluates software against operational mission tasks with users and developers.
• Develops SMPES test plans and strategies aligned with USSTRATCOM goals.
• Provides operational test and training expertise to leadership and teams.
• Supports Product Owner for SMPES development and modernization.
• Develops operational training material and training scenarios.
• Produces after-action reports for SMPES test events.
• Drafts and updates training materials reflecting current releases and sprints.
