Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks a Software Test & Evaluation Engineer for on-site work at Offutt AFB, NE. You will support modernization, training development, and mission-critical testing for NC3/USSTRATCOM programs, collaborating with DoD partners to ensure reliable software and effective operator training.

Responsibilities include developing SMPES test plans, evaluating capabilities, and delivering training materials and after-action reports across multiple programs and sprints.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen required.
• Clearance: TS/SCI level and ability to maintain.
• Education: Bachelor's degree.
• Experience: 12+ years, 5+ years DoD.
• Minimum operational test and training development experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides test support during SMPES modernization efforts.
• Evaluates software against operational mission tasks with users and developers.
• Develops and maintains SMPES test plans and strategies.
• Provides test and training expertise to leadership and stakeholders.
• Supports Product Owner for system development and modernization.
• Develops operational scenarios for training and tests.
• Provides operational test expertise during plan development.
• Produces after-action reports for SMPES tests.
• Attends Discrepancy, Sprint, and PO meetings as needed.
• Provides operational training during SMPES capability development.
• Drafts and updates training materials for SMPES releases and sprints.
• Authors briefings and papers for leadership.
