Job summary

LaunchTech, LLC seeks an IT Scrum Master to drive cohesive delivery across geographically dispersed teams supporting MDA on IRES. This onsite/hybrid role will coordinate with RTEs, engineers, and product owners to implement structured Agile processes and ensure cybersecurity compliance within a DoD contracting environment.

The successful candidate will lead agile ceremonies, mentor engineers new to SAFe, and optimize sprint cadence while balancing multi-time-zone collaboration and strict

Qualifications

• 4+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
• 2+ years of experience acting as Scrum Master/Agile Coach/PM.
• Active DoD Security Clearance required.
• Experience using Agile tools (Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps) for remote/hybrid teams.
• CSM/PSM I/SSM or SAFe SSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the RTE to align Scrum Master role with SAFe frameworks.
• Design, implement, and train IT teams on Agile processes for structured delivery.
• Establish a cohesive, hybrid-engaged multi-site team dynamic (HSV COS).
• Facilitate an optimized Agile cadence for IT/infrastructure delivery.
• Coach teams on Agile/Scrum practices to deliver high-quality IT solutions.
• Assist Product Owner with backlog maintenance and story translation.
• Document planning data in the system of record for reporting and metrics.
• Deliver weekly metrics to the RTE and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve impediments affecting Sprint goals.
• Manage team capacity, velocity, and burndown charts.
