Job summary

LaunchTech is seeking an IT Scrum Master to support the Missile Defense Agency on the IRES contract. The role is onsite/hybrid, located in Huntsville and Colorado Springs, supporting distributed teams with agile practices in a mission-critical environment.

The successful candidate partners with the RTE to mature SAFe processes, coaches teams in Scrum, manages backlogs, and delivers weekly metrics while maintaining data in the system of record.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of general full-time work experience.
• 2+ years acting as Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Project Manager.
• Active Agile certification (CSM/PSM I/SSM) required.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps for remote/hybrid teams.
• Experience applying Agile methodologies to IT operations.
• Active DoW Secret Clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with SAFe and enterprise Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with RTE to define and align Scrum Master role with SAFe frameworks.
• Design, implement, and train IT teams on customized Agile processes.
• Establish a cohesive cross-site one-team dynamic across HSV and COS.
• Facilitate an optimized Agile battle rhythm for IT and infrastructure teams.
• Coach teams in Scrum practices to deliver high-quality IT solutions.
• Assist Product Owner and Tech Leads with backlog maintenance and user stories.
• Document data for planning in the system of record and deliver recurring metrics.
• Identify and resolve impediments; manage capacity, velocity, and burn-down charts.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies during complex upgrades and break/fix activities.
• Ensure cybersecurity tasks are integrated into the Agile workflow.
