Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Execution Lead to drive the SMIT vulnerability management initiatives supporting the Navy's NMCI backbone. You will lead a large, distributed team of engineers and field personnel, coordinate with government stakeholders, and ensure timely remediation across locations while maintaining security and performance objectives.

The role requires DoD background, strong leadership, excellent communication, and solid policy interpretation skills to align network upgrades with

Qualifications

Must have DoD Secret or higher clearance with ability to upgrade to TS.
BA/BS degree plus 12+ years of relevant experience; MS/MBA with 6+ years accepted in lieu of degree.
Prior leadership in a large-matrix organization; strong communication and briefing skills.
Working knowledge of defense-in-depth, network security architecture, and IT policy interpretation.

Responsibilities

Lead complex IT remediation and refresh projects across locations; manage resources to meet deployments.
Interface with senior Government officials and NMCI leadership.
Direct field teams; oversee remediation tasks and gate sequences.
Manage subcontractor relationships and time charging in Deltek and SLICS.
