Job summary

OMG Federal, part of the Otoe Missouria Group family, seeks an experienced IT Program Manager to lead multiple federal IT programs and ensure DoD-aligned execution. This role emphasizes program governance, risk management, and cross-functional leadership to deliver mission-critical capabilities.

The ideal candidate has DoD experience, active Secret clearance, and the ability to manage diverse teams across contractors and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or closely related field is strongly desired; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of IT Program Management experience within a federal government environment is required.
• Prior experience supporting or working with the U.S. Armed Forces strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex IT programs and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of DoD IT environments, compliance standards, and security protocols is needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT programs in support of federal and DoD initiatives.
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring schedule, scope, cost, and performance objectives are met.
• Serve as the primary liaison between government stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements, federal regulations, and DoD policies.
• Manage and mentor technical teams, including subcontractors, to maintain high performance and accountability.
• Develop and maintain program documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate resource allocation and ensure proper staffing across program efforts.
• Monitor program performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements as necessary.
• Travel occasionally to support program needs, stakeholder meetings, or site visits.
