Job summary

FEDITC, LLC is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support operations in Warren, MI. The role requires a United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD security clearance.

The ISSO will advise the Information System Owner and CISO on security of the information system and help ensure DoD policies are implemented. The candidate will coordinate security efforts, monitor the system, manage changes and incidents, and contribute to security documentation such as the System

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology from ABET accredited or equivalent.
• Active Secret DoD security clearance is required.
• US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with ISO to maintain appropriate operations security posture.
• Serve as principal advisor on security of the information system.
• Manage day-to-day security operations of the system.
• Monitor information system and environment.
• Manage and control changes to the system.
• Handle incidents.
• Assist in developing security policies and System Security Plan.
• Document system details: architecture, components, data flow, interconnections, and security requirements.
