Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking an Information and Communications Technology Designer for the Mission Critical Facilities market in Chicago, IL. This role performs basic technical duties under supervision and coordinates with the project team to deliver designs within scope and budget.

You will develop system designs, conduct site surveys, and prepare client deliverables while adhering to design standards and quality processes.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related industry experience preferred.
• Experience with ICT design in Mission Critical Facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work in Stantec's proposal.
• Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer.
• Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to project budget.
• Creates detailed instructions, delegates tasks, and reviews returned work to ensure timely execution.
